Job Description
- Transport freight safely over long distances while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours mileage fuel usage and expenses.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Follow DOT regulations and company safety protocols.
- Assist in loading and unloading when necessary.
- Ensure vehicle maintenance by reporting mechanical issues and scheduling repairs.
- Plan efficient routes using GPS and mapping tools to optimize delivery times.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A or C license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of OTR driving experience (preferred).
- Doubles and triples endorsements (preferred for certain routes).
- Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate driving shifts effectively.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and road safety protocols.
- Excellent time management and problemsolving skills.
- Physical ability to lift cargo and perform minor vehicle maintenance if needed.

Qualifications Valid CDL (Commercial Driver s License) Class A preferred. Truck Ownership Must own a well-maintained commercial truck. Experience Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred. Clean Driving Record No major violations or DUIs in the past 5 years. DOT Compliance Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening. Business Skills Understanding of financial management, contracts, and logistics operations. Preferred Skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Knowledge of freight brokerage and load boards.
