Our client a world leader in diagnostics and life sciences is seeking a Systems Engineer with expertise in software integration and testing to join R&D team. In this role you will drive the integration of assays and software into diagnostic systems that meet In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) standards. Youll collaborate with crossfunctional teams contribute to system architecture and design and ensure quality and regulatory compliance throughout the system development lifecycle.
Duration: Longterm Contract
Location: Tucson AZ
Rate: $50/hr on W2
Key Responsibilities
- Lead software integration and testing phases across the system lifecycle
- Define and manage software requirements configurations and risk assessments
- Collaborate with R&D Marketing Regulatory Quality and Operations teams
- Analyze technical challenges and develop innovative customerfocused solutions
- Execute systemlevel verification and validation activities
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies in diagnostics
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering Biomedical Sciences or related technical field
- Master s degree with 2 years of experience or PhD acceptable
- 4 years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on software integration/testing
- Strong knowledge of FDA/ISO regulatory standards and IVD compliance
- Proven experience with requirements engineering risk management and defect tracking
- Experience with assay development and software reliability/usability principles
- Familiarity with RETINA LucidSpark or LucidChart tools
- Understanding of softwarehardware integration electromechanical systems and basic chemistry
