Job Description
Pinterest is looking for a Product Design Manager II to support our Personalization team focused on Home and User Feedback. In this role youll support a team of Product and Content Designers collaborating with Product Management and Engineering to help build personally relevant experiences for our users.
What youll do
- Lead build develop and inspire a team of Product Designers to continually elevate the design direction and product quality.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to define the key results and identify the most impactful features to build.
- Build a successful collaborative environment that encourages deep partnership with crossfunctional teams and sets a high bar for design craft.
- Champion customercentricity accessibility and inclusion and good design choices across functions.
- Influence product strategy and enable your team to create elegant designs that solve complex problems.
What were looking for
- Bachelors degree in design a related field or equivalent experience.
- 6 years career experience in Product Design (or equivalent).
- 2 years experience building and growing multidisciplinary design teams and with digital products especially building design systems for native app platforms.
- High design craft and experience in multiple design fields (UX UI design systems prototyping) and prior work demonstrating a strong design process clear insights and problem solving.
- Ability to build narratives and tell stories through design while also being able to get into the details with their team to shape the pixel level details of the craft.
- Proven ability to work closely with your crossfunctional partners to paint a longterm vision develop a path to get there and iterate in the shortterm to meet longterm goals.
- Strong ability to accelerate team efficiency by improving processes and workflows within the design and crossfunctional teams.
- Proven track record of being able to balance ambiguity fast iterative sprints business awareness technology organizational agility research and data insights and high design quality.

- We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means were not always working in an office but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
- This role will need to be in the office for inperson collaboration 12 times/quarter and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
