Job Description

Join the Supervisor Team at Gillette! .9 FTE Monday Friday day position. Flexible hours to meet the needs of the department and to align with supporting the team.

The Supervisor provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders under the direction of a physician. This includes polysomnography diagnostic and therapeutic services patient care and education. This person is responsible for coordinating work direction staff training quality monitoring and policies & procedures for the department.

Compensation & Benefits Information

The annual salary range for this opportunity is $83000 to $125000 with a median salary of $104000. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience and internal equity. Salary is just one component of the compensation package for employees. Core Responsibilities and Duties

Utilize Information

  • Find effectively utilize and provide information when requested. Readily adjust to shifting priorities and work assignments.

Accurate and efficient work

  • Demonstrate accuracy efficiency and completeness in product and processes. Perform tasks with appropriate urgency and accuracy while reducing waste through proactive time management

Active Engagement

  • Actively involved in committees task forces meetings and the work of the department or work group.

Staff Management

  • Holds staff accountable for expectations. Addresses performance issues promptly and corrects poor performance. Enables employees to grow and succeed through feedback instruction and encouragement.

Setting Expectations

  • Sets clear meaningful challenging and attainable individual and group goals and expectations that are aligned with those of the organization.

Qualifications

Required

  • Successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis in health care

OR

  • Successful completion of a Polysomnography program of no less than one years duration associated with a state licensed and/or nationally accredited educational facility or equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technician. Minimum three years experience as Polysomnographic Technologist.

AND

  • Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. If new hire holds valid CPR through another acceptable organization (as determined by Gillette) candidate may be able to begin employment but must complete Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association within one month of employment.

Preferred

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Care and credentialed either certified or registered through the State Board and/or National Board for Respiratory Care.
