Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE
It is the responsibility of the Table Games Floor Supervisor to directly supervise the operation and conduct of assigned table games and table games personnel including reconciling table accounts while providing excellent guest service. All duties are to be performed following federal state and local laws regulations and ordinances as well as department and Company policies practices and procedures.

Location: Gold Strike Casino Tunica MS



Responsibilities

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the performance of dealers to ensure that each game is dealt to the customer with a high degree of proficiency and that superior customer service is provided to guests.
Monitor guest flow and notify management when adjustments to open table games are needed.
Observe evaluate and rate players objectively and accurately following departmental policy.
Maintain proper bankroll levels to accommodate existing or anticipated play.
Reconcile table accounting accurately and with integrity and maintain card/dice and all gaming equipment.
Verify the accuracy of all documents and ensure that all procedures are adhered to.
Notify the Pit Manager and/or Shift Manager immediately of any unusual activity of highlimit play or if damage/tampering of equipment is suspected.
Perform other jobrelated duties as requested.



Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two 2 years of casino operations experience or according to property requirement or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
Work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.

PREFERRED:
Two 2 years of supervisory experience.
Bilingual skills
2 years of dealing experience.
3 core games plus all carnival games offered.

CERTIFICATIONS LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS:
Gaming Registration.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to function and act independently.
Able to effectively communicate in English in both written and verbal forms.
Ability to communicate effectively concisely and logically in a timely manner and at an appropriate level while maintaining confidentiality.
Ability to multitask and work well in a fastpaced teamoriented environment.
Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines with particular attention to detail.

Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills.
Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Ability to perform various activities such as constant standing walking frequent bending reaching kneeling and squatting.
Ability to work in an environment where pipe cigar and cigarette smoking are permitted.
