Job Description
Location: Montreal QC
Work Arrangement: Hybrid 3 days onsite per week
Duration: Permanent
Work Hours: 40 hours/week 8 hours/day

Aversan is a trusted multiservice engineering and electronics manufacturing company. Aversan delivers leadingedge and reliable safetycritical electronics and software systems to the aerospace defence and space industries.
As a Mechanical Designer you will play a key role in developing hardware design solutions for complex engineering systems. Youll collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver highquality mechanical designs that meet customer and project requirements. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite presence three days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design manufacturing assembly and installation drawings based on project specifications.
- Analyze technical requirements engineering drawings and stakeholder input.
- Collaborate across engineering teams and manufacturing groups to ensure cohesive design .
- Identify and implement technical solutions to meet project goals and timelines.
- Support the manufacturing team during prototype builds and production.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the design and production workflow.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced complex project environment.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
- Proficient in parametric CAD tools (Creo preferred).
- Experience with PLM systems such as Windchill.
- Skilled in large assembly design sheet metal design and surface modeling.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel).
- Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Bilingual in English and French (required).
- Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
- Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with SolidWorks or CATIA.
