Job Description

Position Summary
The Department of Chemistry at Villanova University invites applications for an adjunct instructor to teach lecture and/or laboratory courses as needed. Duties And Responsibilities
A clear understanding of course goals and acceptable procedures. Methods of teaching must be compatible with the overall focus of the course and/or laboratory. Preparation and grading of quizzes exams and lab reports. In addition to typical classroom responsibilities teaching proper laboratory techniques and safety is expected for lab courses. Good communication skills between faculty and students.

Minimum Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Chemistry and/or relevant experience is required. Applicants must be committed to excellence in Chemistry education. Applicants must apply online at and complete a faculty profile.
