Job Description

Start Date: Ideally beginning of May; no later than midJune 2025!

Schedule: MondayThursday: 7:30 AM 4:30 PM Friday: 7:30 AM 12:30 PM. 40 hours/week guaranteed; ability to work up to 45 hours/week as needed.

About the Family:
A warm and welcoming family in Aldie VA is seeking a fulltime nanny to provide attentive nurturing care for their 8monthold son. Their son is a sweet & happy baby. The family also has three older daughters (ages 8 7 and 3.5 all enrolled in fulltime school/ aftercare and camps throughout teh summer. The nannys primary focus will be caring for the baby year round. Additionally the family has a weekly housekeeper and mom works from home in a private office on Mondays and Fridays with flexibility for your start and end time.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive and loving care for the infant throughout the day
  • Support a consistent nap schedule with cribbased sleep
  • Prepare ageappropriate meals/snacks for the baby
  • Light housekeeping related to the children (tidying play areas washing bottles/dishes childrens laundry)

Ideal Candidate:

  • Calm & nurturing and brings a peaceful grounding presence to the home
  • Prior experiencewith infants and toddlers with strong references
  • Familiar with Montessori principles or open to learning
  • Seeking a longterm role 3 years) with a family they can grow alongside


Compensation & Benefits:

  • $30/hour $62400/yearpaid through apayroll service
  • 2 weeks of paid vacation
  • 1 week of paid sick leave
  • paid major holidays
  • overtime paid at timeandahalf for hours worked over 40 per week
The family hopes to have a longterm relationship with their nanny and plans to revisit the possibility of expanding the role potentially into a family assistant positionwith updated responsibilities and compensation in summer 2026.
