DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Carpenter 1 you will performgeneral carpentry work in the alteration repair and maintenance of all buildings within theLinn Run State Park Complex. Some specific duties will entailinstalling and repairing windows doors and screens in addition to roofing and constructing or maintainingAmericans with Disabilities Act (ADA) approved handicap ramps wooden handrails and steps. You will also be responsible for park signage fencing repairing furnishings and maintaining park inventory for lumber and other materials.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment 37.5 hours/week.
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM with a 30minute lunch. Work days and shifts may vary.
- This position performs duties that are routinely executed seven days a week and will be routinely scheduled to work weekends evenings and holidays as needed for park operations and to meet seasonal needs.
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Successful completion of the Building Trades Trainee program(Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Three years of experience in the construction installation repair restoration or maintenance of structures and articles made from wood composite and wood substitute materials; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession of an active motor vehicle license.
