Job Description

Position Summary

This position is responsible for being a technical and customer satisfaction resource for Renewable EPC Customers the TSMs and other support departments (Ops Sales etc.. Position will be available to interface directly with customers to ensure project satisfaction and answer technical and nontechnical questions for Customers support departments and/or provides training and technical support for TSMs.

Position will be responsible for assisting with project management for large projects as assigned by the GM/PM and complete other projects as assigned

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in Customer meetings as the technical expert for future current and past jobs. Visit customer sites at project kickoff to ensure successful project start.
  • Interface regularly with customer to ensure project satisfaction.
  • Work closely TSMs PMs and GM to communicate issues and solutions to customer needs.
  • Assist with justifying and ensuring customer acceptance of change orders.
  • Assist with enhancing growth through customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain a basic switching training program that encompasses training on safety regulatory guidelines for Technicians to be used throughout the country. Create other training programs or SOPs for technicians or Customers as business need dictates.
  • Schedules and coordinates training for identified Technicians. Provides the proper followup.
  • Monitor training status for Technicians and advise TSM of training program for each Technician.
  • Visits sites to evaluate technics used for safety practices. Provides OTJ as appropriate and provides a score card for site visit.
  • Complete train the trainer courses for applicable needs and disseminates training programs as business need dictates.
  • Incorporate data and assessments to measure the success of training course(s) and materials. Collates and analyzes course feedback; uses data to make program improvements and adjustments.
  • Creates and maintains his or her training and travel schedule.
  • Able to travel in state and out of town and travel with little notice as needed.
  • Responsible for running large projects as a PM when assigned. Assist project team to determine priorities of multiple sites to achieve progress deadlines.
  • Monitor advise and oversee all switching Equipment including but not limited to Test equipment Trucks Trailers Tools.
  • Review create and update work procedures best practices SOPs.
  • Participate in Customer meetings for future current and past jobs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience and 8 years of experience.
  • Related field work in industry.
  • Critical thinking problem solving and desire to learn.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Passion for learning and teaching others. Customer Focus
  • Intermediate skill level with PowerPoint Word Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with both. technical and nontechnical personnel.
  • Must be able to adjust to changes in workflow prioritize as needed and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated strong sense of urgency and ownership of process.
  • Must demonstrate a team player mindset.

    Additional Information

    Travel: Up to 50

    Compensation:Pay rangefor an Ops Specialist range from $125 to $155K depending on experience.

    Physical Demands: Lifting to a maximum of 50 lbs. without assistance or use of a lifting aid crawling climbing standing for long periods of time and working in nonideal conditions.
