Fairwater specializes in liquid energy and chemical transportation vessels operations and related services as an independent U.S. Jones Act service provider. The organization has ownership of a highly capable fleet of 31 tankers and articulatedtug barges and will also provide ship management services to 20 vessels.

We have openings in our East Coast Gulf West Coast and Alaska ATBs with the Seafarers International Union (SIU) Masters Mates & Pilots (MM&P) and Inlandboatsmen Union (IBU) . Union membership is required upon acceptance of a permanent role within the ATB fleets.

Minimum Qualifications And Credentials
- Eligible to work in the United States REQUIRED (no sponsorship).

- Basic Safety Training (VI/1
- VPDSD Vessel Personnel w/ Designated Security Duties) (VI/6
- Personal Survival Craft (VI/2
- Advanced Firefighting (VII/3
- Lifeboatman
- STCW Medical Certificate we require the STCW Expiration Date to be valid
- TWIC badge Not to expire within three months
- Valid Passport Not to expire within six months
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch (OICEW) 750kw/1000HP or higher
Hitches
- West Coast Gulf and East Coast ATBs 28/28
- Western Alaska ATBs 45/45
