SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...
- Designing implementing and testing firmware of Pure Storages DirectFlash SSD Modules
- Coding and testing in C/C and Python
- Bringing up and enabling new hardware components and developing low level firmware features
- Investigating and debugging issues and developing failure analysis tools and process
- Internal development automation including continuous integration automated unit and regression testing etc
- Working closely with hardware system software and manufacturing teams
WHAT YOULL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong understanding of software/firmware test and release processes
- Strong experience with Nand Flash and/or SSD Device Firmware Development
- Experience using Python C/C or related programming languages
- Familiar with embedded software or firmware development
- Experience with Microcontrollers SoC or hardware bringup
- Good verbal communication & collaboration skill.
- Must be willing and able to work in an open office team environment.
- We are primarily an inoffice environment and therefore you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara CA office in compliance with Pures policies unless you are on PTO or work travel or other approved leave.
The annual base salary range is: $163000.00 $246000.00. Salary ranges are determined based on role level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
