ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Minimum Qualifications
High school or GED with particular emphasis during high school in office skills shop skills or others plus 2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Tech II High school or GED plus night trade extension or correspondence school specialized training equal to two years of college plus 4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Tech III High school or GED plus night trade extension or correspondence school specialized training equal to two years of college plus 5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid drivers license and the ability to legally operate commercial motor vehicles under 26000 pounds. Welding certification is required for qualification as a welder.

Valid drivers license.

While performing the functions of this job the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts extreme heat risk of electrical shock; frequently exposed to work in high precarious places wet or humid conditions vibration; and occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles toxic or caustic chemicals outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

While performing the functions of this job the employee is continuously required to talk or hear; regularly required to stand walk use hands to finger handle or feel reach with hands and arms climb or balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl; and occasionally required to sit taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; and ability to adjust focus.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Shift work required while working in operations. Employee must qualify as either maintenance technician or junior operator under internal AECC qualification procedures.
