The Role
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to support the Asset Management investment process The function of this job ensures investment professionals across Fidelity have access to valuable external research to drive the investment decision making process. We believe your client service skills will help you forge relationships with management and investment professionals through your proactive support of their external research needs. We know you will improve our processes for handling external research vendors and develop innovative ways for research spend governance! The value you deliver includes:
Acting as liaison between Investment Professionals and external vendors leading approvals for research costs and delivering ad hoc spend and/or eligibility data to analysts and management
Facilitating the onboarding process of requested research providers and assisting in appropriate due diligence process with legal and compliance
Overseeing the maintenance of research and market data firms including adding and ongoing management of (i.e. mergers and acquisitions) across multiple platforms
Running the quarterly research vote cycle including quality checks on data and reporting vote results
Collaborating with Commission Uses Vendor Administration Vendor Relations and Market Data teams on service eligibility changes and updates and workflow integrations
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelors degree
Customer service or client facing experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills strong interpersonal skills
Attention to detail ability to analyze and synthesize a wide range of data into valuable insights
Financial services experience preferred
Masters of Library & Information Science not required but useful
Experience using business intelligence tools such as OAS or PowerBI not required but useful

The Team
Research Services is a team within FFIO Consolidated Data Services group. We are responsible for managing all external research vendor relationships the research vote and the soft dollar eligibility program on behalf of Asset Management.
