Are you looking for a parttime job Are you looking to shape the nurses and doctors of the future Are you an actor or do you want to be an actor Simulation Participants or SPs perform the role of the patient during health care simulations or clinical skills trainings for learners in the College of Nursing Simulation center. SPs portray specific emotions behaviors and disease symptoms while interacting with learners in the health care field during simulated patient encounters. SPs aid in establishing and maintaining fidelity and realism to each simulation. You may participate in video productions support voiceover for elearning courses photographs and other teaching material as required. Please apply at: ontime and fully prepared for all roles and shifts you accept. Memorize a case script detailing specific emotions behaviors and disease signs/symptoms for presentation during simulated learning situations. Present case information in a standardized manner as elicited by students during simulated interactive patient history and/or medical examinations. Remain in a specific patient character. Embody roles with fidelity and realism. Participate in group training. Maintain confidentiality of information related to cases student behaviors and feedback evaluations. Provide educationally constructive verbal feedback from the patient standpoint when prompted by the facilitator. Ability to be flexible in different medical and educational settings. Perform additional jobrelated duties as assigned.
