Position Description:
Configuration:
The new colleague will work on SQL scripts to enable new features as well as data updates to fix production issues.
The ideal candidate has to be curious about the business needs be autonomous in his/her work yet confident to ask for help from the team when needed.
Data Migration:
Migrate data from old legacy systems into a target system using existing or developing new Talend jobs.
Some data transformation using python or java scripting may be required on occasion.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Deploying a Policy Administration system worldwide in all the Business Units of the Group based on international program aiming.
As a Configurator the candidate is involved in the configuration of insurance products
As a Migration specialist the candidate is involved in the policy portfolio migration for all new Business Units using Talend ETL
Both roles involve developing data fixes for production issues
Following Agile methodology (Kanban) the candidate is involved on a daytoday basis in the analysis scripting and delivery of the proposed solutions.
Being in charge of providing product and data expertise and support for the rest of the tribe and other tribes (for instance BAs testers developers in feature teams)
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
45 years experience
Strong skills in SQL PL/pgSQL and TSQL
Experience with GIT for script version management
Experience with Talend or another ETL solution would be a plus
Experience of CI CD pipelines in a DevOps environment.
Nice to have basic experience in programming languages (Java Python)
Capacity to understand and master a data model and to link it to the functional features
Expertise on medium to large data migrations
