Sales Manager

Job Summary:
A Sales Manager is sought to lead mentor and support a team of junior sales staff in driving business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the sales teams performance setting goals and providing guidance to ensure targets are met. This role requires experience in managing a diverse portfolio of clients and working closely with the team to target different markets effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of junior sales staff fostering their development and ensuring their growth in the sales process.
  • Track and monitor team performance to ensure goals and targets are being met.
  • Provide constructive feedback and address performance challenges to foster continuous improvement.
  • Attend prospect meetings alongside junior staff to provide support and insight.
  • Assist in identifying and targeting key markets for business expansion.
  • Offer consultative support to clients and internal teams ensuring that all sales efforts align with the business objectives.
  • Ensure sales staff are wellversed in product offerings particularly P&C products.
  • Assist in sales strategy development aiming to maximize production and revenue.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Property & Casualty (P&C) license required; Life & Health (L&H) license preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a generalist Commercial Lines background.
  • Previous experience with AMS360 and Agency Zoom preferred.
  • Proven track record of leadership with the ability to inspire and develop sales teams.
  • Excellent consultative selling skills and ability to maximize production.
  • Strong communication interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to effectively target and engage with different market segments.
  • Willingness/ability to travel as needed for prospect meetings and business engagements.

Compensation Package:

  • Salary: Up to $120K (based on qualifications/experience).
