You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThis position serves as an enrollment technician responsible for enrolling and updating enrollment information for eligible medical providers who comply with licensing and regulations laws applicable to the providers practice or business. This position deals with the State and Federal Medicaid policies and procedures related to enrollment eligibility. The job responsibilities include researching and analyzing documents and data to determine eligibility and ensure accurate enrollment of medical providers into the Medicaid Program; researching issues raised by medical providers provider organizations and legislative staff; analyzing data and program operations and recommending policy and procedures changes and preparing and editing enrollment data and production reports.
Education
Education typically acquired through completion of high school.
Experience
Departmental Technician 7
One year of experience performing administrative support activities equivalent to the 7level in state service.
Departmental Technician 8
One year of experience performing administrative support activities equivalent to the 8level in state service.
OR
One year of experience as a technician or paraprofessional equivalent to the entry level in state service.
Departmental Technician E9
One year of experience as a supervisor of administrative support activities equivalent to the 9level in state service.
OR
One year of experience performing administrative support activities equivalent to the 9level in state service.
OR
Two years of experience as a technician or paraprofessional including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate level in state service.
Departmental Technician 7
Completion of two years of college 60 semester or 90 term credits) may be substituted for the experience requirement.
Departmental Technician 8
Possession of a Bachelors degree may be substituted for the experience requirement.
Departmental Technician E9
Possession of a Bachelors degree and one year of jobrelated experience may be substituted for the experience requirement.
Position Location/Remote Office:
The physical location of this position is 400 S. Pine Lansing MI. Based on operational needs and within established limits remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests for this position may be consider
Selected candidates who have been approved to work remotely or a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
