As a Senior UX Designer at GE Vernova you will play a crucial role in designing intuitive and engaging user experiences for our suite of products within Grid Software. You will work closely with product managers engineers and other stakeholders to create usercentered designs that solve complex problems and meet the needs of our customers. Our Grid Software division focuses on developing cuttingedge SaaS products that manage and optimize energy grid operations. We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior UX Designer to join our team and help shape the future of energy management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the UX design process from concept to delivery ensuring a usercentered approach throughout.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand user needs business goals and technical constraints.
- Conduct user research including interviews surveys and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes prototypes and highfidelity designs that effectively communicate design ideas and solutions.
- Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across products.
- Advocate for best practices in UX design and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in UX design.
Heres what you will bring:
Education.
Bachelors degree in Design HumanComputer Interaction or a related field.
Experience.
- 5 years of work experience with a minimum of 35 years in UI/UX with a B2B/B2C product company with an emphasis on creating rich user experiences.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and demonstrating proficiency in UX design tools (e.g. Sketch Figma Adobe XD).
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.

You can translate client requirements and complex user journeys into clearly laid out user stories and graphical workflows.
