ManpowerGroup Greece on behalf of its client is seeking a Network Engineer.
Our client is a technologydriven multinational company specializing in innovative industrial automation software. With a strong presence worldwide and a dynamic office in Athens they deliver highend solutions driving the digital future of industry.
Location: Athens North Sector
Working Model: Hybrid(3 days office2 remote)
You will be reporting to: Network/ Infrastructure Team Leader
What you will do:
As a Network Engineer youll monitor and manage the global Remote Management System while supporting and connecting Enterprise infrastructures for toptier industrial clients.
More specifically:
- Implement and manage Site2Site connections with our clients
- Integrate and administer End2Site based VPN solutions for our clients in both isolated and centralized setups
- Collaborate with the global IT teams of the CompanysGroup on IPSbased firewall clusters IDS EPS routing
- Provide thirdlevel support for various connectivity options
- Manage the global highly available and modular Remote Management System of the company which integrates the OT infrastructures
- Document network architecture changes configurations and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with the global IT teams on ERP and CRM systems
- Virtualized server infrastructure
Requirements
A University Degree or Vocational diploma in IT (or equivalent handson experience)
Minimum 34 years of experience in network engineering or administration roles
Solid understanding of networking protocols (e.g. BGP OSPF TCP/IP DNS DHCP NAT)
Experience with Cisco Juniper Fortinet or similar networking equipment.
Strong experience with: iptables/nftables Open Connect OpenVPN bash nmaptcpdump
Expertise with routers switches firewalls and load balancers.
Strong analytical thinking and autonomy in technical decisionmaking
Teamoriented mindset and excellent communication skills
Very good command of English (German is a plus)
Ability to work in a team and maintain a friendly demeanor.
Experience on any of the following will be nice to have:
Linuxbased systems and shell scripting.
VMware vSphere Proxmox
Prior Experience with Debian Linux and vpnc
Bash Perl common router & switch CLIs
Network certifications such as CCNA CCNP or equivalent.
