Job Description
Tulley Automotive Group Inc. has an immediate opening for a motivated Part Time Swap Driver. Tulley Automotive Group Inc. is a family owned and operated dealership group that provides a great work environment with exceptional customer service and employee benefits.
Please Note: This is an oncall position
Job Description:
- This is an oncall position; which includes a required 3rd Saturday of the month to work the auction!
- Provides and ensures exceptional internal and external customer service in department;
- Provides insight and ideas to the department in order to maintain a sustained competitive advantage;
- Transports vehicles between dealerships in a safe manner;
- Inspects outgoing and incoming vehicles for damage or missing equipment;
- Verifies that all documents and payment are received from other dealerships;
- Accounts for all trip expenses including gasoline tolls and other allowable charges;
- Advises manager if transport vehicles need repairs and maintenance;
- Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of personal work area and transport vehicles;
- Abides by the groups policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook;
- Communicates and coordinates regularly with appropriate others to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of interdepartmental operations and activities;
- Complies with federal state and local regulations that affect department operations;
- Keeps immediate supervisor and designated others fully and accurately informed concerning work progress including present and potential work problems and suggestions for new or improved ways of addressing these problems;
- Exhibits integrity ingenuity enthusiasm and inventiveness in the performance of assigned tasks;
- Performs other directly related duties consistent with the role and function of the specification.
- Working knowledge of department functions policies and organization;
- Working knowledge of current department technology terminology procedures and equipment;
- Thorough knowledge of area public road system;
- Ability to communicate effectively with others both orally and in writing using technical and nontechnical language;
- Ability to perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under the pressure of deadlines;
- Ability and willingness to quickly learn and put to use new skills and knowledge brought about by rapidly changing information and/or technology.
