Job Description
Voyago is seeking responsible and compassionate individuals to join our team as Para Transit Drivers!
Your Role
As a Para Transit Driver you will take pride in playing a key role in ensuring the independence and mobility of our citys disabled passengers. Your efforts will directly contribute to their ability to access essential services appointments and daily activities safely and comfortably. You will provide safe reliable transportation while delivering excellent customer service and assisting passengers with care and respect.
You will perform basic vehicle inspections at the start of each shift to ensure the vehicle is in good working order including checking tire pressure brakes lights and other essential systems. The rate of pay for this position is $18.50 per hour.

Requirements
Your Profile:
- You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
- You can obtain a clean criminal record search and/or vulnerable sector screening
- You hold a valid Ontario G class license and are open to upgrading to an F class license. Voyago provides all required onroad and inclass training to support this upgrade (preference will be given to candidates who already hold an upgraded license).
- You are comfortable upgrading your licence to a class F
- You are comfortable working within a unionized division
- You have excellent customer service skills
- You are comfortable working around any type of service animal
- You have a sound knowledge of the city of London
- You are comfortable with a fast paced physically demanding job (pushing wheelchairs with a maximum of 250lbs. Twisting pulling getting low to the ground to secure the wheelchairs)
- You are available to work one of our part time shift packages. The para service runs 7 days a week between 5am and 12am. (Additional details on specific shift packages will be shared with selected candidates)
