The Hotel Weyanoke is on the hunt for a friendlyFood Runner Who can hustle with heart. As a Food Runner youll be a crucial link between our kitchen heroes and our hungry guests. Youll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our members and guests experiences. Food Runner responsibilities include being present in the kitchen when checks are sold and delivering prepared meals to tables.
Compensation: $12.41 per hour Tip payouts.
What Youll Do:
- Greets guest/members upon arrival; assists with seating as needed
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation at all times; performs closing cleanup duties
- Handles purchasing transactions which include operating cash register and accounting of daily sales
- Deliver food orders to our members and guests.
- Double check order to ensure quality and correctness.
- Communicate with server orders that are ready to be served.
- Must be aware and attentive to all verbal and nonverbal communication
- Must be professional and courteous at all times
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
What Were Looking For:
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Creative flexible and innovative team player
- Professional appearance and demeanor
