ChristianaCare is looking for a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) program and provide familycentered and evidencebased care to ChristianaCares neonatal and pediatric patients. We have a large medicinepediatrics hospitalist program and welcome medicinepediatrics applicants. BC/BE in General Pediatrics required.
Our mission is twofold: to provide exceptional care for children and to provide an exceptional work environment for our faculty and staff.
Program Highlights:
- New leadership team with a focus on purposedriven multidisciplinary work transparent communication and both support and growth of departmental divisions.
- Academic affiliation with Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University (optional).
- Clinical opportunities: serving patients in multiple settings including inpatient pediatrics newborn nursery delivery room
- Educational opportunities: resident teaching (Pediatrics MedPeds Family Medicine) and medical student (Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University) teaching.
- Career development opportunities: quality & safety departmental and institutional committee involvement leadership education formal mentorship.
- Collaborative opportunities: Level III NICU ambulatory pediatrics network Pediatric Emergency Medicine team and both inhouse and external subspecialty consultants.
- Educational resources include: Neonatology & Pediatrics Grand Rounds multidisciplinary SIMs a medical library and a 9000 sq ft SIM Center for skills training.
- Flexibility. Parttime applicants welcome. Additional compensation for nocturnist work.
