JOB OVERVIEW
- Oversees all aspects of the Montana Department of Corrections public safety related security technology including door control systems body scanners security cameras body worn cameras fence security systems key control tool control drone interdiction technology drones for security less than lethal technology person and vehicle location tracking.
- Plans for maintenance updates replacements of existing security systems and implementation of new security systems.
- Ensures security systems are maintained and reports the cost of acquiring replacing or updating systems.
- Evaluate and diagnose issues with existing systems and coordinate repairs when necessary.
- Serve as department liaison with security technology vendors to ensure vital security systems are always operational.
- Coordinating planning and organization of new installations updates and repairs to department systems.
- Collaborates with Public Safety Leadership Facility Leadership Project Management Information Technology and Facility Maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in business administration project management or related field.
- Four years of experience managing projects.
- Other combinations of education or experience may be substituted.
