Position Summary:
Under general direction of the Margin Manager the qualified candidate will act as a facilitator in support of growing our Independent Foodservice Sales business and reviewing all functions that can affect that growth. Ensure the accuracy of pricing and/or contract data to customers and Area Managers within the Independent Foodservice segment. Communicates and interacts with customers vendors and coworkers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and timely. Functions as a team member within the department and organization as required and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in monitoring cost and pricing of products by category to ensure profit expectations while growing sales. Monitor pricing and margin standards on new and existing items.
Enter and monitor street deviations for Area Managers in support of sales growth and profitability expectations.
Creates and processes weekly customer pricing for products.
Set up and maintenance of Street Sales Rebates.
Set up and maintain Independent Street Sales Bids and Contracts.
Assist in performing ad hoc financial analysis.
Backup other Finance or Sales Support staff as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
