For youth ages 1424 enrolled in the Marion Barry Summer Youth Employment Program (MBSYEP)
Work Hours: 8:00 AM 2:00 PM Monday through Friday
End Goal: Student collaboration and performance in our culminating summer showcase Diannes Recital
This instructor will teach movement rooted in HBCU dance traditions including majorettestyle routines stand dances and band choreography. Students will learn how to express themselves through movement and contribute to a dynamic showcase piece.
