Job Description Summary

GE Vernova is seeking sharp personable highly organised intern who are looking for the opportunity to grow their technical and professional skills while building a career with unlimited potential.

Interns will work with NPI System Integration & Verification team getting handson with GEs eLumina Control Systems.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the tracking and management of HVDC system components in terms of eLumina Control System in the NPI lab and related materials ensuring accurate stock levels are maintained.
  • Coordinate the procurement storage and distribution of inventory items for NPI lab.
  • Prepare and maintain the list of components to be considered for spares along with the tracking of latest Firmware version details.
  • Help the team in terms of cubicle interconnection and red marking of drawings.
  • Be a part of Hardware System Integration Tests and help the team in terms of documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelors or masters Degree program at an accredited university.
  • Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering.
  • Understanding in inventory management or supply chain operations preferably within the electrical or HVDC industry.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Familiar with Health and Safety of the Laboratory and Cubicle Test Area.

  • Analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to identify and resolve inventory issues.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proactive approach to managing inventory needs and addressing potential issues before they arise.
