Scheduled Weekly Hours:
40Position: Paralegal
Department: Legal Services
Reports to: Associate General Counsel
Location: Training period will be onsite in La Crosse WI. Following this period the role will shift to a hybrid format with occasional onsite attendance required.
Emplify Health is seeking a talented and experienced paralegal to join our legal team. This inhouse paralegal position offers a dynamic and rewarding role where you can make a meaningful impact within a leading healthcare organization.
What youll do:
Collaborate closely with attorneys in the legal department.
Provide comprehensive legal advice and assistance on a wide range of issues.
Support compliance contractual corporate employment and labor matters.
Address medical malpractice risk management and patient care legal issues.
Handle consent termination of care and other critical legal aspects related to healthcare.
Conduct research and provide thorough analysis to support patientrelated legal questions and concerns.
What youll need:
Education: Associate degree in Paralegal or Bachelor of Science with major in paralegal studies
Experience: 34 years minimum of related work experience
Preferred Skills: Litigation experience strongly preferred
Ideal skills: Medical records and intellectual property and transactions experience ideal
