The Enterprise Tooling team maintains a suite of reusable AI/ML tools that empower Capital One developers to rapidly bring models to market and power bestinclass customer experiences.

As a Product Manager on the Enterprise ML Tooling product team you will be the voice of the customer data scientists and engineers at Capital One and identify cuttingedge technologies to help them deliver nextgeneration capabilities to market. Youll collaborate with a crossfunctional team of product managers engineers and designers to define requirements and drive delivery of high value solutions to the enterprise.

The ideal candidate for this role is familiar with traditional ML techniques and emerging trends in Generative AI. They are equally comfortable discussing technical concepts with engineers and delivering presentations to senior leadership.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and communicate the product vision for key ML and Generative AI capabilities.

• Prioritize the product backlog to maximize business and customer outcomes.

• Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design.

• Facilitate collaboration and communication between teams.

• Maintain a healthy backlog of work and play a critical role in many agile ceremonies.

• Keep the team unblocked by escalating roadblocks and fasttracking resolutions.

• Serve as a critical connection between your customers and your team.

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management

• Currently has or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:

  • A Bachelors Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics Economics Operations Research Analytics Mathematics Computer Science Computer Engineering Software Engineering Mechanical Engineering Information Systems or a related quantitative field)

  • A Masters Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics Economics Operations Research Analytics Mathematics Computer Science Computer Engineering Software Engineering Mechanical Engineering Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

• MBA or Masters degree

• 3 years of experience in Agile product management

• Familiarity with Machine Learning lifecycle and Gen AI frontier

The minimum and maximum fulltime annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for parttime roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
