Job Description
We are a leanedin platform where users come with active intent not a place to watch funny dance videos or doom scroll through news. As such we are positioned to succeed in Shopping in a differentiated way. As a platform we are uniquely positioned at the intersection of search social and commerce. The fullfunnel experience across homefeed search and related pins combined with the ability to save collaborate and curate enables users to have dynamic multisession journeys and go seamlessly from inspiration to action. These journeys are rarely linear and Pinterest enables statefulness better than any other platform allowing users to stop and start refine down broaden out and come back to where they left off seamlessly navigating between discover decide and do.
What youll do:
- Develop and execute a cohesive Search strategy and roadmap in close partnership with Executive Product Engineering Design and other crossfunctional stakeholders.
- Build innovative new Search features that tap into the unique user intent on Pinterest. Youll create products that help users find inspiration browse products and ultimately find the item they want to buy.
- Investigate and hypothesize opportunities to improve the relevance of search results on Pinterest.
- Partner closely with a wide range of disciplines including engineering data science design research marketing legal strategy and other product managers to define measure and drive .
What were looking for:
- Strong product sense: Strong product sense and ability to collaborate and get buyin from stakeholders while setting a longer term vision.
- Experience building AI/ML products: Demonstrated success in product management or related experience at fastgrowing companies particularly working on AI/ML based products.
- Bring structure to ambiguity: Proven ability to lead in ambiguous environments aligning across functions teams and orgs to deliver on time in a highly collaborative environment.
- Expert at weaving together data user feedback and intuition: Strong analytical skills to define product strategy and drive decision making making appropriate tradeoffs based on data analysis and qualitative feedback from Pinners.
- Previous experience in search is a plus but not required.
- Technical strength: Youll partner closely with Engineering teams working with a wide variety of technologies including Machine Learning.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as computer science or equivalent experience.

InOffice Requirement Statement:
We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means were not always working in an office but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection. This role will need to be in the office for inperson collaboration 12 times/quarter and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
