You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are recruiting a welltrained BC/BE orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in Total Joint Arthroplasty including revision surgery to join our multispecialty orthopaedic practice. Maine General currently has four orthopaedic surgeons performing total joint replacements and two of them are planning to retire over the next year or so. A successful candidate will inherit a busy referral base for both primary and revision total joint surgery
The Maine General Orthopaedic Department is a hospitalemployed 10 surgeon group with fellowship training in sports medicine hand surgery joint replacement spine surgery foot and ankle surgery orthopaedic trauma and also has a podiatry division. Additionally there is a nonoperative sports medicine fellowship consisting of five fellowship trained nonoperative sports medicine physicians and two fellows annually. There is a great opportunity for teaching and education with the fellows and the family practice residents. The selected candidate will join the call pool with 10 other surgeons allowing for a great worklife balance! Income base is guaranteed with a productivity bonus.
