Impact youll make:
The Aero Product Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to our global Gas Power customers for issues related to the gas turbine packages and electrical / controls systems. In this role you will provide technical resolutions related to the Aero gas turbine operations or installation & commissioning issues. In some instances you will assist in complex investigations for field events. Some travel may be required.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide remote technical support of the GE Vernova Aero LM products (TM/LM2500 LM6000 LMS100.
  • Provide customer issue resolution through preparation and delivery of technical documents.
  • Oversee technical Installation & Commissioning activities of new GE Vernova Aero products.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate customer support via use of Service Now.
  • Offhour availability and some travel time may be required.
  • Perform site event analyses to determine root cause and corrective actions.
  • Mentor Services Engineering team members on Controls/Electrical systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or above in engineering or technology related discipline from an accredited university or college OR a High school diploma/GED with 9 years of field service experience with gas turbine technology.
  • Minimum of 5 years of field service experience with gas turbine technology instrumentation electrical systems or troubleshooting.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must be able to travel occasionally estimated <10.

Desired Characteristics

  • Previous working experience with GE Vernova Aeroderivative Gas Turbine engine package or controls systems.
  • Understanding of control systems Woodward and/or GE (MK6 MK6e RX3i).
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems low / medium / high voltage systems Generators AVR and IGPS.
  • Ability to read technical drawings (one line diagrams controls logic schematics P&ID etc..
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical instrumentation and/or controls related issues.
  • Experience leading projects involving multidisciplinary teams.
  • Comfort with interacting with customers in person answering technical questions.
  • Demonstrated team player.
  • Creative outsidethebox thinker.
  • Proven interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commercial sensitivity with a focus on customer needs.

For purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements The base pay range for this position is$98400.00 $164000.00 USD per year.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10 performance bonus.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110 120 or 130 of salary in certain areas.

This position will stay open on the career website until at least4/24/2025.
