The Open Communications Systems (OCS) organization within Collins Aerospace is designing communications systems for Next Generation technologies across a wide variety of platforms.

We are hiring a Senior Power Supply Engineer to work onsite in Fort Wayne IN.

This position is to join a crossfunctional team designing Power Supply systems on the edge of current technology. You will be part of a toptier team of professionals working on challenging engineering withing critical communications systems.

What You Will Do:

• Lead the design of multiple high and low voltage power supply designs using best practices.

• Design Develop document verify review and troubleshoot hardware including AC/DC power supplies EMI filters power converters etc.

• Perform circuit card design lifecycle activities including requirements capture schematic capture design documentation simulation & analysis creation of board stackup and routing instructions coordination and review of printed wiring board layout creation of test plans root cause analysis and integration.

• Collaborate with a multidiscipline team to assure defined requirements are consistently met in all phases of a products lifecycle including supporting integration and test of the final product.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience

• Proficient with EE Design Tools: MATLAB SIMULINK Keysight ADS and Mentor Graphics

• Experience in Artwork (ODB) validation reviewing and approving PWB/CCA drawing sets

• Proficient in Schematic Design Parts selection Schematic capture Library management and Parts Lists creation

• Proven ability to take a design concept from the block diagram or requirements level and develop a complete hardware design and verifying via test and integration

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required

• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
