Compensation range:

$41.21 $66.92

Your rate of pay will be based on applicable experience

Shift: Days Shift length: 8 Hours
Days off: Fixed If fixed days off: Saturday & Sunday
Hours per pay period: 80

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manager works under the direction of the Director of Finance and Business Analysis. The position is responsible for the operational quality human resource and financial management of the financial analysis function. The Manager is responsible for management of the Finance and Business Analyst staff and services including budgeting and financial analysis. The position will be responsible for data integrity as well as establishing and optimizing data access. The position will be instrumental in providing financial projections and service line/business segment analysis and the compilation/publication of financial reporting information (for Senior Leadership). The manager oversees the integrity of the data collection to ensure accuracy and optimization of financial systems and tools. The Manager participates in program development and Department performance improvement. The Manager consistently demonstrates the core values of Enloe Medical Center and serves as a role model to other employees.


The Manager:

  • Actively participates on various hospital user groups task forces and work groups as available to demonstrate a Finance presence.
  • Assists the Director of F&BA in developing a culture of accountability for the financial performance of Enloe Medical Center
  • Develop and implement a continuing education program that enhances and enforces the end users understanding of monthly statistical monthly and biweekly financial and budgetary reporting developing the organizations financial conscious.
  • Responsible for Data Integrity to include statistical reporting distribution of departmental financial reports processing loading and validating the data flowing through the budgeting system analyzing financials and departmental variances.
  • Responsible for the AXIOM Financial system and oversees the Operating budget financial projections and development of adhoc projections as required.
  • Responsible for developing/improving the organizations monthly and biweekly performance reporting.
  • Provides leadership in the development of frameworks processes and resources designed to support business planning and leadership decision making.
  • Provides leadership and development to the Finance team in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Provides ad hoc financial and operational analysis as need to support strategic decision making.
  • Analysis and interpretation of financial results and identification operational improvements.
  • Communicates financial concepts and results and opportunities to diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management and process thinking to instill an environment of accountability and quality improvement.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:

Minimum:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or Business Administration or related field
  • Two years experience in finance/accounting

Desired:

  • Masters Degree Business Administration/Finance/Accounting or Certified Public Accountant
  • Highly proficient in SQL for data extraction transformation and analysis
  • Health care finance/accounting experience
  • Membership in professional organizations and attendance to conferences regarding management

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Public Accountant

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

Must demonstrate leadership ability. Must have knowledge of and a demonstrated ability in financial management and reporting quality improvement process and human resource management. Must have the ability to communicate effectively. Must have the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Must have the ability to motivate delegate analyze information problem solve and make decisions. Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and demonstrate the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. Ability to work well under pressure. Must be a proven change agent and enjoy the challenge of fixing problems rather than maintaining the status quo. Behavior should be reflective of Enloe Medical Center core values. Excellent computer skills. Proficient with Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
