THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineering Manager to lead a frontend development team. This role is ideal for an engineering leader with a strong background in frontend development and a passion for building highperforming teams. You will play a key role in shaping our frontend architecture and development practices fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement and delivering exceptional user experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead mentor and manage a small team of frontend engineers.
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings performance reviews and provide constructive feedback/coaching.
- Recruit onboard and retain top engineering talent.
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical guidance and leadership on frontend architecture and development best practices.
- Participate in design reviews code reviews and architectural discussions.
- Contribute to the codebase alongside the team maintaining a handson approach.
- Project Delivery & :
- Collaborate with product managers designers and other stakeholders to define project requirements and timelines.
- Manage team workload prioritize tasks and ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Ensure the delivery of highquality scalable and maintainable frontend applications.
- Culture & Growth:
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
- Stay uptodate with the latest trends and advancements in frontend development.
- Lead by example demonstrating a proactive and resultsoriented approach that inspires a sense of urgency across the team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience as a software engineer with a focus on frontend development.
- 3 years of experience in a software engineering management role.
- Expertise in Vue 3 and related frontend technologies (e.g. JavaScript HTML CSS state management).
- Proven experience in building and deploying complex frontend applications.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices including testing code reviews and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Excellent communication collaboration and leadership skills.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Startup experience.
- Experience with fullstack development concepts and technologies.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.

The annual base salary for this role is $160000 $210000. Starting pay will be based on several factors and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Stock Options are also part of the compensation package for full time roles.
