You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailKey Project Management role for Marine business unit within GE Power Conversion & Storage UK Ltd specifically within the NNPPI / Air Gapped environments.
Taking full responsibility for effective delivery & commercial control of assigned project(s) and be the key principle contact for GEV PCS DT. The successful candidate will coordinate the activities of all team members including all functions involved & drive SQDC. You will ensure that all requirements are fully understood and translated into clear traceable action plan & manage the implementation.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Project Manager will perform the following duties:
Primary focus for the role is to manage a key critical project for the Marine IT requirements to ensure that contractual obligations are met on time and to budget.
Be the primary point of contact for the internal Customers building a strong and effective stakeholder relationship achieving a high level of customer satisfaction and serving as a basis for repeat projects.
Lead and coordinate the project from an IT/DT standpoint to deliver the project objectives in a structured and efficient manner.
Interface with GEV PCS participating units and external suppliers as needed.
Managing the commercial technical and quality issues on the project.
Creating maintaining and driving progress against a project plan
Always ensuring compliance with GE Vernova processes and procedures. Strictly adhere to all security guidelines mandated for this role.
Carrying out project reviews to control projects check progress manage cost identify deviations from plan detect risk and forecast future performance. One of the key requirements of this role is to manage change evolution.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Degree or equivalent experience in any related IT/DT & Project Management qualification
Ability to manage and control projects in a Regulatory DT environment.
Experience in managing design evolution and change with capacity to report with clarity and confidence.
Basic knowledge of NNPPI and OnPrem regulations would be desirable.
Excellent communication skills are required to liaise at all levels both within the organization and external stake holders.
Good understanding of applied Contract Laws.
Flexibility to travel to any customer or supplier site when required to fulfil the requirements of the position. Full UK driving license.
