Description

Job Summary: Assist the Broker/Account Executive (AE) and Producer with servicing of new and renewal business for Environmental Practice Group. Coordinate with broker/AE and production team and insurance carriers to facilitate a successful client placement and/or renewal.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist Brokers Producers and Account Executives in handling of daytoday client servicing & inquires
  • Maintain record of expiration dates on assigned accounts and coordinate with the CAC client team on new/renewal handling
  • Check in with clients and secure extension terms as needed
  • Responsible for all account service functions from the start of the placement process including but not limited to:
  • Create a standardized process for welcoming new clients to CAC Specialty so the new client understands our process people firm timelines and workstreams; as part of this process you will be responsible for managing the timelines and key workstreams
  • Obtaining necessary placement materials from incumbent / new insurance carriers including but not limited to any applications and supplemental information required for underwriting purposes (e.g. audited financial statements organizational charts etc.
  • Forward submission materials to the client while managing placement deadline continuing to followup for those needed submission materials (will need to receive client submissions so that there is sufficient time to turn around the placement process prior to the deadline)
  • Once client submission is received coordinate the client submission materials for distribution to insurance carriers / underwriters; as well as coordinating the schedule for group and individual meetings between the client and insurers
  • Provide support to CAC client team in obtaining insurance carrier quotes and binders and reviewing insurance carrier quotes and binders for accuracy
  • Assist CAC client team in sharing insurance carrier quotes and binders with excess markets and assist with any follow up with client on subjectivity requests from insurance carriers / underwriters.
  • Responsible for surplus lines due diligence and any applicable paperwork needed for requisite filings such as surplus lines taxes (only applicable to nonadmitted carriers included on client programs)
  • Work with team assistant to ensure correct policy information is included in team account list
  • Assist CAC client team in the creation of client presentations proposals and placement summaries
  • Assist CAC client team in sending quotes to clients closing subjectivities the binding of insurance programs by sending bind orders to each market ensuring we have confirmation of binding from the carriers
  • Assist to ensure excess markets are in receipt of all underlying binders (also quotes)
  • Send binders to client
  • Complete invoices requests review invoices for accuracy and send to client. Follow up with client to collect past due premiums.
  • Follow up on policy issuance with each carrier included on the clients insurance program
  • Assist CAC client team in policy reviews by conducting the initial policy review. This review is not expected to be legal in nature but fact checking the policy on items such as premium client name and address etc.
  • Forward all policies to client upon completion of review process and receipt of accurate policies in the manner designated by the client (e.g. electronic paper file etc.
  • Work with Legal & Claims team on notice instructions to ensure Claims are noticed in an accurate and timely fashion
  • Establish and maintain deal/client list
  • Add new business to Sales Force and maintain accurate pipeline and closedwon data
  • Establish and maintain a good business relationship with clients insurance carriers and CAC Specialty colleagues
    • Postbinding create a process to ensure that we maintain a strong relationship with the client as well as the deal team; create a system to track the key client relationships if they leave the company
  • Assist and maintain presentation materials client lists case studies client testimonials etc.
  • Assist CAC client team with any special projects
  • Other duties as assigned which may include administrative duties related to meeting coordination events etc.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 03 years of relevant work experience
  • State specific license is required; can be obtained within 60 days of employment
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Responsive selfstarter
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail & time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products to include Word Excel & PowerPoint
  • Salesforce & EPIC experience preferred
