JOB DESCRIPTION

In addition to daily administrative duties including data entry expense reports filing correspondence and preparation for hiring meetings the assistant will also have the added responsibilities of facilitating interviews helping with and attending summer associate and law school recruiting events diversity functions summer associate orientation and working on discreet projects for each office involving research lateral associate counsel and partner interview coordination database management and the like. The Attorney Hiring Assistant will report to the Director of Attorney Hiring and the Regional Attorney Hiring Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Supporting the Partner Growth Team with firmwide lateral partner hiring efforts.
  • Entering candidates monitoring applications and updating statuses in Flo Recruit.
  • Creating/maintaining candidate folders in iManage.
  • Corresponding with law student candidates regarding scheduling their screenings/callback interviews.
  • Hosting virtual law school and lateral candidate interviews.
  • Processing departmental expenses.
  • Updating internal charts including firmwide and Atlanta callback tracking charts.
  • Working with law schools to request resume collections as well as getting summer positions posted to job boards.
  • Assisting coordinators with preparing for oncampus activities.
  • Coordination of logistics related to inoffice and virtual candidate visits.
  • Assisting with the summer associate program as needed.
  • Assisting with lateral associate hiring as needed.
  • Creating and requesting event invitations.
  • Providing support during law student summer associate and oncampus social events.
  • Supporting firmwide team in processing candidate application and interview materials.
  • Maintaining firmwide search firm tracking chart
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Attorney Hiring and the Regional Attorney Hiring Manager.

SKILLS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • College degree highly preferred.
