Cloud & Security Engineer
The role will:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement secure and scalable cloud solutions.
- Administer and optimize virtual environments (VMs) ensuring high availability performance and resource efficiency.
- Develop and maintain IT procedures for recurring tasks enabling seamless by support teams.
- Install configure and maintain software and hardware systems with proper documentation of infrastructure and changes.
- Conduct rootcause analysis for system issues and implement preventive solutions to minimize downtime.
- Manage backup and recovery strategies ensuring data security daily operations and restore testing.
- Ensure infrastructure security in collaboration with IT Security standards and best practices.
Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science or a related field; a Masters degree is a plus.
- 35 years of experience in the field of cloud computing and classic VM administration
- Strong scripting skills in Windows environments.
- Proven experience in network administration ideally with Fortinet technologies.
- Handson experience in SysOps with a focus on reliability and system performance.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
