Typical Job Duties:
- Perform scheduled and random patrols throughout the warehouse perimeter and parking areas
- Monitor surveillance systems alarms and access control systems
- Enforce facility access procedures for employees contractors drivers and visitors
- Check shipping and receiving areas for suspicious activity or unauthorized personnel
- Ensure loading docks entrances and exits are secured
- Respond promptly to security incidents alarms or emergencies
- Document incidents and prepare detailed written reports
- Assist with loss prevention efforts including monitoring highvalue inventory
- Report safety hazards or maintenance issues found during patrols
- Provide support during emergency situations such as evacuations or medical calls
Position Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Standard computer / technology skills needed
- Professional verbal / written communication skills
- Conflict resolution and deescalation skills a plus
- Customer service background preferred
- Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift
