University of Utah College of Health Department of Parks Recreation and Tourism Assistant Professor (Lecturer) Career Line The Department of Parks Recreation and Tourism in the College of Health at the University of Utah is pleased to announce a careerline Assistant Professor (Lecturer) position. The Department is looking for a skilled educator who will cover classes in the core curriculum and provide representation on Department College and University committees. This appointment will begin January 2025. The successful candidate will have experience in teaching core classes including but not exclusive to introductory and midlevel courses in parks recreation and tourism management. Preference will be given to individuals with skills and interests in teaching the business and management of parks recreation and tourism services (e.g. financial management personnel marketing facilities etc.. Service based responsibilities representing the Department on College and University committees may also be required.
