Platform Engineer

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join our Product Team. While there isnt a large infrastructure backlog this role will play a crucial part in maintaining and scaling our infrastructure while also focusing on platform engineering initiatives to improve developer productivity.

You will work closely with software engineers to ensure system reliability performance and security. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing infrastructure solutions automating workflows optimizing cloud environments and building tools and systems that streamline development and deployment processes across engineering teams.

What youll do:

• Infrastructure Design & Maintenance: Build and maintain scalable secure and highperforming infrastructure to support product development and deployment.

• Cloud Management: Manage cloudbased (AWS) environments optimising performance and cost.

• Automation & CI/CD: Develop infrastructureascode solutions using Terraform Pulumi or similar tools to automate provisioning and deployment.

• Collaboration with Product Teams: Work closely with software engineers to optimize infrastructure for performance scalability and resilience.

• Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Lead root cause analysis and resolution for infrastructurerelated incidents.

What were looking for:

• 3 years of experience in either Platform Engineering (or related fields)

• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and container orchestration (Docker Kubernetes).

• Strong experience in infrastructureascode tools (Terraform).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitHub Actions).

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (ELK Stack Prometheus Grafana Datadog).

• Ability to script and automate tasks using Python Bash or similar languages.
