This role requires onsite presence at our clients location in Issaquah WA.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Were seeking a Principal Engineer with a passion for technical leadership innovative problemsolving and modern architecture design.

In this role you will help our client develop nextgeneration web applications scalable microservices and missioncritical systems that reach millions of users worldwide.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and inspire engineering teams fostering a culture of innovation growth and technical excellence.

• Architect largescale systems using microservices and cloudnative technologies (GCP or Azure) delivering solutions that are resilient scalable and globally distributed.

• Build modern web applications with technologies like JavaScript React/Angular and leverage tools such as Docker Kubernetes and serverless computing.

• Own performance and security driving initiatives to optimize system efficiency and ensure bestinclass security practices.

• Collaborate crossfunctionally with Product Infrastructure DevOps SRE and other technical teams to align on architecture and roadmap priorities.

• Shape technical direction influencing engineering practices design patterns and the broader product strategy.

• Simplify complex ideas making them accessible and actionable for crossfunctional teams to ensure effective collaboration.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

• 15 years of handson engineering experience in languages such as C# Java or JavaScript.

• Deep expertise in designing and deploying largescale customerfacing web applications.

• Proven track record in leading the technical delivery of enterprise solutions.

• Strong background in:

  • Microservices architecture using C# and Java.

  • Modern frontend frameworks (especially React).

  • Opensource and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).

• Proficiency in modern development tools including Git and CI/CD pipelines.

• Deep understanding of software engineering principles scalable architecture and design patterns.

• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum SAFe Kanban or Lean).

• Excellent communication and leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and team development.

WED LOVE IT IF YOU HAVE:

• Masters or Bachelors in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• Previous consulting or engineering leadership roles.

• Experience working with both legacy systems and modern platforms.

• Domain knowledge in retail operations (e.g. POS ecommerce supply chain warehouse systems).

• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs Sheets Slides Gmail).

WHAT WE OFFER:

• Competitive compensation with opportunities for additional incentives. The annual salary range for this role is $170000$220000.
