Description
- Minimum 2 years of Veterinary Kennel Tech experience
- Prior Veterinary facilities experience desired but willing to train the right candidate
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Strong attention to detail and followthrough
- Ability to communicate calmly clearly and effectively
- Ability to handle high stress situations
- Ensure all empty cages are cleaned and ready for the next patient
- Wash and stock laundry
- Sweep and mop floors in treatment areas exam rooms and doctors office
- Clean wet tables exam tables sinks and countertops on a daily basis
- Take out trash and line trash cans
- Ensure all drawers and cabinets in the trearnebt areas/exam rooms are stocked with supplies
- Check and clean drains in front of kennel runs at least once per shift
- Dust/clean surface areas
- Walk through lobby ensuring cleanliness
- Sweep/mop lobby and clean up all necessary trash and spills
- Respond favorably to all requests from personnel for help and support
