Student EmployeeAspire Business Clinic
Department:Robert W. Plaster School of Business
Location:Columbia MO
Type:Student Employee Parttime
Pay:$13.75 per hour (Pay range may vary based on geographic location)

Job Summary:
The Aspire Business Clinic (ABC) in the Robert W. Plaster School of Business at Columbia College is seeking parttime student employees to assist in operations for the ABC. Duties would include but not be limited to assisting the ABC Director in new client intake meetings developing and managing project timelines for ABC clients and coordinating outreach to potential ABC clients.
Minimum qualifications include considerable progress towards a bachelors degree and excellence in time management and written and verbal communication. Prior experience in a businessrelated job or internship is preferred but not required. Applicants must be current Columbia College students. Applications are accepted and reviewed continuously until positions are filled for the semester.

Essential Functions:
  • Work collaboratively inside a project team to develop actionable solutions.
  • Be present and contribute in all project team meetings.
  • Complete work assigned by the Aspire Business Clinic Director or RWPSOB Faculty Member assigned to oversee the project.
  • Maintain professional and positive communication with the Aspire Business Clinic clients.
  • Ensure the final solution developed for a client is at the highest competency level possible.
  • Participate in Aspire Business Clinic meetings
  • Ability to attend meetings outside of normal business hours 9am5pm) on occasion to meet Aspire Business Clinic client needs particularly inperson meetings. Interns would be provided with advanced notice of meetings as much as possible by the Aspire Business Clinic Director.
Skills:
  • Ability to fluently read write and understand the English language.
  • Proficiency for using a variety of computer and technologyrelated software and equipment including Microsoft Office products (Excel Word PowerPoint) and social media platforms.
  • Ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environment with or without direct supervision
  • Excellent communication interpersonal customer service and organizational skills with all constituents.
Education:
  • Significant progress towards a bachelors degree
