What Youll Be Doing
- Manage state and local income tax return preparation and provision calculations.
- Ensure timely and accurate state and local income tax payments including extension and estimate payments and manage the tracking of payment deposits outstanding refund requests and carryforward attributes.
- Represent the company in state tax audits and disputes.
- Research and advise on potential state tax strategies including identifying applicable credits incentives or other tax savings opportunities and risk mitigation.
- Advise on the state tax impacts of various business initiatives.
What Are We Looking For
- Strong knowledge of state and local tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in OneSource tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
