THE ROLE:
The Specialist Organizational Development will support and lead strategic initiatives that drive employee development organizational effectiveness and cultural alignment at 24 Hour Home Care. Reporting to the Senior Manager Organizational Development this role manages and contributes to a range of projects across the People Teamfrom designing learning materials and facilitating workshops to analyzing engagement data and improving onboarding programs. The Specialist collaborates crossfunctionally and operates with a high level of independence to create impactful scalable solutions that support employee growth and business goals.
Primary Responsibilities
Partner with the Senior Manager to design and execute strategic organizational development (OD) projects related to culture talent and employee experience.
Lead or support the design implementation and measurement of learning and development initiatives.
Facilitate live learning sessions onboarding and development workshops (virtual and inperson).
Create engaging learning materials and visual assets using tools such as Canva Adobe Suite and PowerPoint.
Collaborate with stakeholders to assess organizational challenges and recommend OD strategies and solutions.
Manage learning and engagement platforms and analyze survey data to inform People Team strategy.
Design and maintain onboarding programs and training content aligned to business and rolespecific needs.
This is a remote position. This is a temporary 6 month position.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
Skills
Strong communication presentation and facilitation skills
Instructional design and adult learning principles
Project management and stakeholder collaboration
Visual and digital content creation
Analytical thinking and data interpretation
Adaptability and ability to work independently
Emotional intelligence and userfocused design
Familiarity with LMS/LXP tools such as Relias Brightspace or similar
Qualifications
24 years of experience in organizational development learning & development or talent management
Experience designing and implementing learning programs and engagement strategies
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office especially PowerPoint and Excel
Comfortable facilitating both virtual and inperson sessions
Experience with project management tools and agile workflows (preferred)
Familiarity with onboarding program design and gap analysis
