Geisinger is seeking a boardcertified/boardeligible Internal Medicine physician for the department of Hospital Medicine at Geisinger Community Medical Center located in Scranton PAA hospitalbased physician who only works overnight. Nocturnists are usually trained in internal medicine and have experience in hospital medicine. However there are nocturnists trained in other such as psychiatry or family medicine.
Job Duties:
- Interviews patients to obtain information such as symptoms medical histories and family testsas needed.
- Diagnose and design a plan of treatment for injuries and/or prescribeor maintains and reviews records that includepatientshistories examination findings treatment plans or outcomes.
