Compensation: $45000 Base Salary Plus Sales Commissions (No Cap on Commissions) Expected Compensation $50000

Role: As the Sales Director you will embark on an exhilarating role spearheading our daily outbound sales initiatives to elevate our group sales encompassing both room reservations and food and beverage services. Your contribution will be instrumental in driving our growth and success. Additionally you will forge new relationships to help the hotel achieve its annual goals for rooms dining outlets and events. Your key focus will be on maximizing revenue from room rentals implementing effective yield strategies analyzing market performance and attaining optimal business mix targets. Furthermore you will play a pivotal role in pricing status management direct sales marketing outbound sales efforts and public relations. To thrive in this position a dynamic salesoriented leadership style exceptional communication and decisionmaking skills strong business acumen and the ability to work independently are essential.

What Youll Do:

  • Generate Group Sales for Both Rooms and Food & Beverage.
  • Prepare implement and compile data for the strategic sales plan to meet the hotels financial goals
  • Creates effective sales programs that will increase awareness and positive perception of the hotel its activities culinary services and personnel
  • Ability to use hotel property management system and track all goals and progress into the property sales system
  • Assist General Manager in preparation of the marketing advertising sales plans programs and annual budget; manages within approved plans and budgets
  • Develop rates and group sales development strategies through a review of competitive data demand analysis and mix management
  • Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community
  • Direct and manage all group transient and banquet sales activities to maximize revenue for the hotel
  • Prepare weekly sales reports
  • Prepare implement and compile data for the strategic sales plan monthly reports annual goals sales and marketing budget forecasts and other reports as directed/required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What Were Looking For:

  • 24 yr degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management business Admin. Finance or related
  • Previous Hotel Sales experience required
  • Knowledge of the travel industry current market trends and economic factors
  • Extensive skills in the development and delivery of sales presentations
  • Must have good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to clearly articulate ideas to a diverse audience
  • Ability to make quick decisions and work in a hectic and diverse work environment
  • Strong ability to prioritize organize and manage competing priorities
  • Possess welldeveloped leadership and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to build and maintain business relationships
  • Strong computer skills with a solid command of all Microsoft Office applications
